The All-India Consumer Price Index for Industrial Workers (CPI-IW) for June 2024 has seen a significant increase of 1.5 points, reaching 141.4 points, according to the Labour Bureau’s press release. This update confirms that the Dearness Allowance/Relief (DA/DR) for Central Government employees and pensioners will increase by 3% starting July 2024, bringing the total DA/DR to 53% under the 7th Central Pay Commission
